Srushti began to prepare herself for the UPSC examination in her 3rd year as an engineering student. As she was finishing her last year of engineering, Deshmukh was unsure if she could enjoy working in engineering. Later, she realized her passion was in civil service and began to concentrate on it. Her parents encouraged her to go into civil service and pursue an opportunity to work in public service. She remained motivated and focused on becoming an IAS Officer. It takes more effort to be successful at UPSC. While she was studying in her engineering courses, she used to also study for different subjects of UPSC. Every day, she set aside some time for preparation. In less than a month and half the time, she was preparing for her engineering test and also stayed away from social media. Focus is crucial for her in order to succeed on this test. She is hoping to join an official in the civil service. She put in great effort to make sure she passed the exam on her first attempt.
