Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for the role in the film Bo. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk were the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories were of going to rehearsals for plays as well as watching her mother do the do her job. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. Then she moved in Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she met him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They got married in 2009, and were married in a civil ceremony in the month of December in that same year. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows in a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk had a child named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th, 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. The role was assigned to her as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the season's third finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to viewers of the show during the Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she's ready to go back to her work. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the final season of production. CNN named Bo's portrayal along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched television couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its prominence on social media has gained a significant online following.
